PONDS & WATER FEATURES

In 2018 a Uk Envonrmental alert was put out that there is an ever increasing lack of ponds in the UK.
We at DWR Landscapes Ltd take this very seriously. We take pride from it and we're more than happy when asked to build a Pond.

The water in a pond must stay clean if it is to provide a healthy environment for the Life living in it. The natural waste from the living and dead organisms is ‘recycled’ by bacteria. Plenty of oxygen is needed for the bacteria to ‘break down’ the waste so the pond can take care of its own waste.
Water is fundemental for all life and the addition of a well kept clean pond to a garden will attract all sorts of wildlife. As well as providing a much-needed habitat for Britain's increasingly rare pond-life, a Pond with a shallow-edge will be appreciated by birds and mammal visitors to your garden also.
Ponds, their plants and life, help create an improved air quality and also reduce noise pollution dramatically by creating its own and releasing netative ions in the process. Being in close proximity to Negative Ions dramtically reduces all stress levels in all Mammals, humans and animals alike., which in turn promotes healing. Even your neighbours will benefit from the sounds

At DWR Landscapes Ltd, we're very serious about Water Features too. They add tranquility to any space, Buddhists have used them for meditative purposes for thousands of years. The sound of consistant running water, trickling into a larger pool creates 'White Noise'. Throughout History, philosophers, zen masters and the spiritual have recognised the healing powers of flowing Water. White Noise is respected as being a gateway to meditative healing practices. Hydrotherapy doesn't always require you to be in it to get healing from it.

Running water attracks wildlife to your Garden in much the same reason as the great philosophies surrounding it. Water is Life. It brings life and feeds it. Water naturally attracts life towards it.
Water Features and Ponds will bring hours of relaxation and joy to your home and Garden. Having a well kept pond and/or Water Feature also adds value to your property.
DWR Landscapes Ltd experts can help you decide what would best suit your Garden Space, it's size and complexity and where it should be located.
